EnergyHub systemet och SSO:erna kan automatiskt begränsa effekten från solcellerna. Så det går bra att överdimensionera installerad effekt upp till 120% jämfört med installerad EnergyHub. För att detta skall fungera bra bör dock strängarnas open circuit spänning begränsas till max 850V.
